This innovative musical by Tony-winning composer, Jason Robert Brown, is certain to entertain with a show that's full of heart, humor and hurt. At the beginning we meet Cathy, an actress, as she sings about the end of her relationship with her husband: Jamie. When we meet Jamie, an up-and-coming writer, he sings about his infatuation for the girl he's just met: Cathy. The show progresses as Cathy moves backward in time, and Jamie moves forward chronicling their five-year relationship. They finally meet on stage during their wedding. "The Last Five Years" is a contemporary song-cycle musical that ingeniously records a relationship, from meeting to break-up... or from break-up to meeting, depending on how you look at it. Heartfelt and moving, this show is certain to become a contemporary classic.

With each day filled with ridiculous episodes and priceless characters, Cait Doyle (2009 MAC Award Winner - Best Female Debut) should have her own sitcom. Armed with a lack of funding, a soaring mezzo soprano, and world class musicians Vince Peterson & cellist Dan Delaney, she turned it into a cabaret of song, story, & disaster.
